◆Description from the 1932 catalog: A truely outstanding market variety, descended from the excellent Lukullus variety. From this variety, it derives its beautiful, firm flesh and attractive, round shape, as well as its glossy red color and the respectable size of its fruits, making it ideal for shipping, as it is almost impervious to pressure. It ripens exceptionally early and, in terms of yield, ranks first among all tomato varieties.

The plants are covered with magnificent fruits; one plant often produces over 100 fruits, which, in our country, can weigh several pounds or more per plant.

The fruit is almost seedless and exceptionally flavorful, sure to win the approval of even the most discerning gourmets. This variety is extremely resistant to the dreaded tomato diseases.
