◆出自は定かでは無いが、アメリカ合衆国生まれで1800年以前からのクラシック・エアルーム品種。イタリアのウンベルト王にちなんで名付けられました。先端のニップルが尖った重さ約40gから約50g、レッド・スカーレットのシリンダー型から楕円形のプラム型で1房に4果〜5果着ける。トマトペースト、サルサ、ケチャップ、缶詰に向く品種です。収穫後の貯蔵も効く。
