Developed by Dr. C. B. Sayre, of the Division of Vegetable Crops, New York Agricultural Experiment Station at Geneva. The strong, vigorous vines produce an enormous crop of large-sized, deep, flat, scarlet-red fruits which color evenly and crack but little. Very solid and of fine interior quality. Perfected primarily for canning and juice, but highly valuable for market or home garden.
